My journey with hair and beauty began as a young girl working in various salons until I was old enough to begin my hair apprenticeship. I was hooked—this was the start of my love for everything related to hair and beauty, which continues today. Even though I no longer style on the floor, my passion for the industry still burns bright. These days, I focus my energy on supporting my amazing team through ongoing development and education.
I’m incredibly proud to say that most of our team members have been with Silk since the very beginning. They’re more than just colleagues; they’re my extended family. Together, we’ve cultivated a warm, nurturing environment where our guests feel truly cared for. We believe that coming to the salon should be an escape, a chance to relax and recharge while we work our magic.
For fifteen years now, Silk has been a haven for the Mornington Peninsula community. We’re a one-stop shop for all things hair and beauty, offering the latest trends and technology in hairdressing, a dedicated space for our barbering clients, and a luxurious beauty spa for those seeking ultimate pampering.
